Dale Wood has taken the covers off his new Nissan Altima which he will pilot during the 2016 V8 Supercars championship.
Nissan Motorsport’s new recruit has brought over his former sponsors at Brad Jones Racing, GB Galvanizing and ADVAM, to his new team.
Wood will pilot the #96 Nissan Altima for 2016 following a switch from Holden VF Commodores at BJR since his inception into the main game in 2014. The 32 year old had his first steer behind the car when he took part in the shakedown of Rick Kelly’s new machine earlier in the week.
“I think the car looks brilliant, I love the way the colours are so bright and how it will stand out on-track,” he said to AutoAction.
“I’ve been lucky enough to have some consistency with partners and the brands on my car, and I love seeing it evolve every year. I think this livery is the best one we’ve had yet!
“In this sport, if you can have consistency in the brands that support you, I believe that it’s a sign that there’s something special there. I’ve had a long relationship with the primary partners on my car, and that’s something I’m proud of more than anything.”
