V8 Supercars fans brace yourselves! Skaifey’s famous cliche’s will be returning to a Television near you this year as he returns to his former role of race commentator.
The six time ATCC/V8SC champ is not be new to the commentary role, before becoming the FOX SPORTS analyst last year Skaife sat alongside the likes of Matt White and Neil Crompton in the commentary booth for a few seasons.
Greg Rust will move out of the ‘com box’ and out on to pitlane where he will lead current pitlane reporters Greg Murphy and Riana Crehan.

As well as bringing the best insight with sim he also brings some of the best lines of commentary, non more so than the famous “Riiiigght out sideways!”
“It’s fantastic that Mark will bring his wealth of knowledge and years of experience into the commentary box, with FOX SPORTS broadcasting every practice, qualifying and race throughout the season.” Said FOX SPORTS CEO Patrick Delany.
The 2016 V8 Supercars Championship will begin with Clipsal Adelaide 500 on March 3-6. It will be broadcast live and ad-break free on FOX SPORTS and live on Ten and for Kiwi viewers you can catch the action on SkySport.
